the totality of GOD in adam and eve
"Let US make man in OUR image"

As the reflection of God, Adam contained within him the totality of the God-head, just as Jesus did because He was born of a woman. A perfect circle of creation. Adam was not Jesus, but we are told that Jesus was the last Adam. How can this be? Adam, being made in God's image, means he must have necessarily reflected the total character of God upon the moment he was created. Then we are told that Adam was alone, seeking fellowship, yet there was none to be found within the whole of creation that could fulfill that need.
What Adam needed was already within him, yet until manifested, he was unable to have fellowship with it, which in essence was simply his interaction with a facet of himself. Woman was made from Adam, Adam from God Himself. That which was within Adam must also necessarily reflect God's image, thus when God made woman from Adam, He was simply separating the facets of potential fellowship contained within Himself. God has a full range of emotions, He has wisdom, He is mighty, He is capable of sound leadership and although omnipotent, He is capable of perfect humility, as in the persona of flesh in Jesus, He was a servant to all mankind, making Him a servant even unto Himself.
Woman was made to compliment Adam. Adam was created not only in God's reflection of person, but also character, for Adam was given authority over creation and all were subject to his leadership and the decisions that were made from it.
God has authority over creation and all are subject to His leadership and the decisions made in regard to it. It is the Adam of God that forges ahead, being counseled by the Eve of God in wisdom and emotional perspective.
Adam longed for meaningful fellowship, of which only could be fulfilled from within Himself since He was superior to the rest of creation. All others were incapable of filling that need.
God longed for meaningful fellowship which could only be fulfilled from within Himself since He is above all and incomparable.

God fulfilled Adam's longing for fellowship by separating that which perfectly complimented each other: the counsel of wisdom and the intuit of emotions.

It is the Eve of God, the tandem relationship of wisdom, emotions and the intuitive nature that goes along with it, expressed in total perfection. It is expressed according to the same order which He expressed it in His creation. Adam as the prowess, confidence, strength and will to lead and make the necessary decisions in which direction was correct, prudent actuality of successful existence, continuation of good.
Eve as the counsel of wisdom, perspective of emotion and the comfort of approval to the decisions of the decisionmaker shown through the humility of submission. We are told that Wisdom begins with the reverential fear and awe of God, and that the knowledge of Him is understanding. Jesus tells us to seek first His kingdom and Its righteousness. When we obey our Lord and seek first His kingdom and righteousness, this expresses reverential fear and awe of God. When we express reverential fear and awe of God, we act out our potential to know wisdom. God is first, without Him we cannot have wisdom. Just as Adam was first and without him, there is no Eve.
In essence, the Enemy divided the reflection of the character and/or nature of God's persona reflected by Adam (omnipotent) and Eve (omniscient). The Enemy appealed not to the authority of God (Adam), but to the reason and emotions of God (Eve). Because only God is perfect and only God is good, the reflections of Himself in the persons of Adam and Eve were subject to error. Only God can consume corruption and not fail. All others become consumed by corruption. When Eve consumed the corruption of sin, in the form of rebellion as to the order of existence itself--the very essence/person of God in expression,
{as reflected in the order of creation, as reflected in His nature as expressed in Adam, then Eve taken out of and separated from, yet to operate together as one flesh--Adam as the authority and motion, Eve as the counsel, support and encouragement to do so, working in perfect harmony reflecting the perfect harmony of the totality of the multi-faceted nature of God.}
the inevitable result could only be God's once deemed "very good" creation, being consumed by corruption. That is why we are told that God will swallow and consume death, sin and evil at the end of this age. We are told that the wheat has been allowed to grow alongside the tares. At the time of harvest, the wheat will be gathered into the barn of everlasting life, and the tares will be bundled together to be consumed.
