Self-Loathing, Condemnation, Depression and Guilt

​We are hated.

Men have an Enemy that most are not even aware of, and if they are, totally disregard it.  This Enemy not only hates us, but wants us to die.  Not only die, but to make us as miserable as possible while accomplishing that goal.

​

However, our Mighty Father is a God Who SAVES! 

Not an inferior one who seeks our DEATH.

Our Holy Savior is a REDEEMER! 

Not a DESTROYER.

We are to have PEACE in Christ.

Not SELF-LOATHING in the miry pit!

​God's children are Christ's Body. 

We are to be His eternal dwelling place.  The Enemy seeks to destroy that, to rob God of what He created to be His perfect eternal place of rest.  Therefore, because we belong to God, he also seeks to keep us from rest. 

​​

As God's children, when we condemn ourselves, we condemn God's image. 

​When we allow ourselves to live in mental and emotional unrest, we disturb the rest of the Holy Spirit which is in us.  And because the Enemy is a clever disease, he is able to infect anyone around us when we listen to his lies instead of reminding ourselves of God's Truth.

​

God's children are HOLY. 

We are to be SET-APART because we are SANCTIFIED for His good purpose and pleasure.  We have been plucked from the fire, netted from the pit and washed clean by the precious blood of Jesus, which was spilled at the cross as the single, perfect act of redemption for not just mankind, but for the whole of creation.

​

Because this was accomplished, WE ARE LIVING IN THE DAYS OF VICTORY!
Although the battle rages on all around us, THE WAR HAS BEEN DECIDEDLY WON!

​

His children are in the final stages of rushing the throne of hell, pouring through the gates which were laid waste at the moment of Christ's last breath on Earth.  This is the hour in which the stages of battle are being fought in the inner-sanctum of corruption and evil, most near to the very place in which it sits. 

At this very moment, we are fighting against the most evil of the evil, the most subtle of the deceptive.  As God's children, we have inherited the wisdom and understanding to expect the throne of our Enemy to be well-fortified with the most savage and brutal of his minions.

Our Brother, the blessed Apostle Paul, has long forewarned us to prepare and to put on God's complete armor and stand our ground on the evil day.  Then after having worn ourselves out by doing all that this critical moment demands, we are told to STAND again. 

​

He who honors the Lord will never be shaken-- Ps 15:5
Through the lovingkindness of the Most High we will never be shaken-- Ps 21:7
God is in the midst of His holy dwelling place; she will not be moved-- Ps 46:5
He will never allow the righteous to be moved-- Ps 55:22
He is our rock and our salvation, our stronghold; we shall not be greatly shaken-- Ps 62:2
He will not allow our foot to slip-- Ps 121:3
The root of the righteous will not be moved-- Prvb 12: 3

Brothers (and Sisters) that evil day-- the one in which Paul refers to as THE evil day, not AN evil day-- is NOW!  We are living through that day.  And because we serve a holy, righteous Almighty God, Who loves us and endeavors with much labor to bring us home, He has provided His children with the strategy of His victory well-ahead of time in Ephesians Chapter 6:
1.  Be strong in the Lord, empowered by our union with Him and encouraged by His promises to us
2.  Draw our strength from Him
3.  Put on His whole armor
4.  Stand against the strategies and deceits of the Enemy
 

We have been thoroughly briefed on whom is our Enemy:
1.  It is not flesh and blood.
2.  It is the master spirits that rule our world in its flawed state and present darkness.
3.  It is the spirit forces of wickedness in the supernatural realm.

 

He has dressed us:
1.  Belt of Truth
2.  Breastplate of integrity and right-standing with God
3.  Shoes of Peace
4.  Shield of Faith
5.  Helmet of Salvation
6.  Sword of His Word

​

He has armed us:
1.  Tighten the Belt of Truth around our center
2.  Attach the Breastplate of a righteous and clean heart
3.  Shod our feet with the preparation of understanding and the firm foundation of the Gospel of Peace
4.  Lift up and cover ourselves from the flaming missiles of destructive thoughts and evil temptations with the Shield of Faith
5.  Secure the Helmet of Salvation
6.  Equipped us with the Holy Spirit to wield the Sword of Truth

He has trained us:
1.  Pray at all times in our spirit
2.  Pray in all manners, with all of our concerns
4.  Keep alert
5.  Intercede on behalf of our Brothers
6.  Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed boldly and for the integrity of Its truth to be preserved with courage and relentless perseverance

Now is not the time of weakness. 

Now is not the time to listen to the lies of our Enemy.  Now is not the time to be distracted by those lies which only serve to turn our attention inward, to ourselves, rather than outward to each other. 

The Enemy wants you to waste your oil as salve for your own wounds, so at the time of the Bridegroom's arrival-- in which we are told is during the darkest hours of night-- we will have no oil left for our lamp to light our way home.
 

Now is the time to hold fast to our faith.

We cannot follow Christ in blindness.  We must follow Him alert, our path well-lit and our steps sure, lest we stumble and fall.  We must walk in the light, in constant anticipation of the lies of the Enemy so we can be in constant preparation to hold all thoughts, notions and ideas accountable to Christ Who leads us, lest when we fall we also take along those most near us.
